    Pershing 64

When it made its first appearance, everyone thought it was such a synthesis of innovative design and advanced technology, that it was natural to present it at the Milan Furniture Fair moored on the Naviglio waterway. And when it made its debut at sea, the pershing 64 was immediately renamed “the missile.” In fact, its maximum speed tops 47 knots, experienced through the famous monolithic windscreen and enjoyed in the comfort of the leather-upholstered Poltrona Frau seating.

As is customary at Pershing, performance goes hand in hand with liveability. The versatile lounge can create a single room when merged with the cockpit or, when the folding French door is used, become two separate areas. Amazing to drive, to experience and to look at, the P64 has streamlined and aggressive lines emphasised by the single side window that projects a diffused and exciting luminosity inside.

  • Azimut 80

    Azimut 80

    Dedicating space to well-being.

The new 24 metre Azimut Yachts interprets contemporary lifestyle by offering exceptional comfort: four cabins, five bathrooms and a 42 square metre flybridge. The innovative solutions introduced for the furnishings and the precise lighting design do the rest.

The new Azimut 80 is the first yacht measuring more than 72 feet designed entirely at Azimut’s headquarters at Avigliana, Italy. It builds on the experience of recent, larger vessels developed in the exterior design by Stefano Righini while the design of interiors was handled by Achille Salvagni Architetti.

The Azimut 80 is a leisure craft built in CE class: A, and is thus able to tackle any weather conditions. The layout comprises 4 cabins, all with bathroom, including the owner’s cabin extending over the full beam. The yacht can accommodate 8 guests and includes an enormous flybridge, designed for maximum versatility of use.

ALWAYS IN TOUCH WITH THE SEA… AND PLENTY OF SPACE: THE GUEST IS KING
Panoramic windows and maximum convenience for the guests’ cabins revolutionise the way of cruising.

The sense of space in the owner’s cabin and in the splendid bathroom are certainly among the strong points of the yacht, together with the innovative windows offering extraordinary luminosity and an unmatched panoramic view. The five vertical windows effectively transform the bulkheads into a single window for a ‘dive into the ocean’ effect. The owner’s bathroom, covering the entire beam of the yacht and with a double entrance located aft of the cabin, is almost a spa, with a central crystal shower box offering maximum visibility on either side of the bathroom. The opening portholes present in all the cabins offer a high level of natural ventilation.
    Yachts middle east - Azimut - 80 - Interior - 1
In the first model available, dove coloured leather panels with a barely hinted padded decoration that becomes lighter and lighter in the various cabins, adorn the bed heads of each cabin. The interior decoration of the new Azimut 80 is extremely refined and at the same contemporary, thanks to the combination of fine materials and modern touches: marble for the bathrooms, grey bleached oak alternating with dark wood and painted detailing in the skylights and windows all define a sober, sophisticated atmosphere. Other stylistic combinations are already in the pipeline.

The starboard cabin has two single beds and the possibility of a third fold down bed, plenty of stowage and a bathroom with separate shower, while the guests’ cabin on the port side has a double bed. There is no lack of large windows and opening portholes. In the VIP cabin located further forward, there is one panoramic window on either side; the bed is set centrally with the head towards the bow.

A carefully planned lighting design based on LED technology makes possible a sophisticated modulation of the light in each interior space. Moreover, the play of mirrors and the height of the interiors – well over two metres high – ensure a truly exceptional sense of space.

The crew’s cabins are located aft, with direct access from the deck; at the moment, two beds are planned, but the possibility of adding a third is currently being studied.

A SALON AND INTERNAL SPACES BROUGHT TO LIFE WITH LIGHT
Light and comfort are the key concepts underlying the design of the main deck.

The cockpit with teak flooring is extremely spacious and dedicated to socialising, with a large sofa aft and dining table seating eight. The design of two sky ground windows (1.6 m by 2 m of glass) located in the dining area is very impressive, as it offers a fantastic natural light and breathtaking view.

The galley, fitted with Miele appliances, is available in two versions: enclosed or open space. In both cases, there is a double access, towards the interior and towards the exterior, to assure maximum independence between guests and crew. The main deck is also equipped with a function day toilet.

LIVING IN THE OPEN AIR: EXTRA LARGE SPACES TO BE ENJOYED UNTIL THE EVENING
The swimming platform measuring almost 9 square metres and the large fly are the pride and joy of the new Azimut 80.

The swimming platform is incredibly large – almost 9 square metres – and provides plenty of room for the launch and retrieval of tenders exceeding 4 metres in length or of jet skis.
Further forward, the space is divided into a large sun deck that can comfortably accommodate four people, and an area with a ‘C’ shaped sofa just aft of the windscreen, with further storage.
    Yachts middle east - Azimut - 80 - Interior
The fly: 42 square metres of versatile space lending itself to a variety of uses. The seating is a combination of ‘L’ shaped sofas that can be configured as desired. Alongside the helm, there are two sofas positioned in a ‘C’ facing the large table seating eight. The fly is an ideal place from morning to evening; a convenient and well equipped bar unit has a barbecue, refrigerator and sink, but also houses a retractable 42 inch TV and constitutes the base for an elegant Plexiglas bar counter. Further aft, the second area offers maximum flexibility in terms of fittings: it can be left unencumbered, furnished with sofas, set aside for the tender or as a sun deck, or fitted with a hydromassage. The Azimut 80 can also be constructed with an opening hard top and rolling awning towards the stern. A sophisticated style is assured for the outdoor soft furnishings, lined in technological materials offering a ‘fabric’ effect. Coloured dark brown, they include some padded details.

In the engine room, the two 1550 hp MAN engines provide a top speed of 30 knots. The fuel tank has a capacity of 6,000 litres, while the water tank can contain 1,200 litres. As optional extras, the yacht can be fitted with electric CMC Marine stabilising fins.

  • Iseo wins the “Croatian Boat of the Year” Award 2015

Iseo wins the “Croatian Boat of the Year” Award 2015

Sarnico (Italy), 27th February 2015 – Riva, the iconic Ferretti Group brand and legend on the international boating scene, has added another award to its trophy cabinet already bursting with successes from 173 years of shipbuilding.
The latest prize winner is the ISEO, the jewel in the crown of the open range launched in July 2011 which manages to condense all the inimitable style and elegance of the Italian brand into just 27 feet.
The runabout was one of the winners at the 2015 “Croatian Boat of Year” awards organised by the industry magazine “Naucat”. The official awards ceremony took place at the “Zagreb Boat Show”, which was held in the Croatian city from the 18th to 22nd of February.

ISEO took the award for Best Motor Boat in the 29 feet and under category, once again showing it is not just a ‘must-have’ for those who love cruising on both lakes and the sea, but also a boat with a unique and inimitable design.
While it is certainly the perfect runabout for day cruising, it is also a budding design icon which is perfect for those wishing to enhance their mega yacht with an exclusive tender that will never go unnoticed.

The “Croatian Boat of the Year” Award represents an important European recognition for the boating industry, as the winners, divided into six categories, are selected from a shortlist of over twenty models. The international jury is made up of the manufacturers themselves, professionals from the sector who are therefore best placed to choose the best model in each specific category.

“We are very proud to receive this award, as it confirms how Riva’s excellence and style are admired and recognised throughout its wide-ranging fleet, from the 27-foot ISEO right up to the 100-metre Full Custom range,” stated Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group. “ISEO, in particular, is a sleek and refined product, which as well as satisfying requirements for comfort, ease of transport and immediate use, is also oozing with style and an object of desire for boat owners all over the world.”

    RIVA ISEO
A ‘must-have’ for those who love cruising on both lakes and the sea, ISEO has unique and breathtaking looks, an elegant design and superb stern-driven handling. She is also perfect for anyone wishing to enhance their mega yacht with an exclusive tender with water jet propulsion. The size and design criteria for ISEO were selected to allow the owner to enjoy their boat wherever and whenever they wish. For this reason, ISEO also has her own custom-made trailer, allowing the owner to transport the vessel wherever they wish to go. It is the first craft in its class with an infotainment system and GPS charting based on the Apple iPad platform. Its software was specifically developed for Riva with many interesting features, such as the possibility to browse the owner’s manual, check the weather, listen to the radio, stream a TV show or enjoy your own playlists by simply connecting your iPad to the on-board Hi-Fi system via Bluetooth.

  • The 88’ Domino Super gets its first triplet

The 88’ Domino Super gets its first triplet

La Spezia, 14th July 2015 – While enthusiasm is still lingering in the air for the fabulous première held last May in Monaco, the Riva 88’ Domino Super is already celebrating its first achievement: just a few weeks after its official launch, Ferretti Group announces the sale of the first 3 hulls of the new Riva coupé yacht.

“The official presentation of the 88’ Domino Super at the Yacht Club de Monaco was a very exciting moment and now, we can surely say that event was the starting point of what is already a commercial success. Less than two months after, Riva and the Ferretti Group are proud to announce the sale of three yachts”, commented Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer, Stefano de Vivo.

The three yachts have been sold in three different markets, showing how the 88’ Domino Super has been welcomed enthusiastically at an international level: the first hull will go to an Owner from continental Europe, the second one will be delivered in the Asia-Pacific, meanwhile the third will cruise across Middle-East seas.

These are the first positive results of a commercial strategy aimed at confirming the leadership of the Ferretti Group’s most iconic brand across the world.

    88’ Domino Super
The 88’ Domino Super is characterized by a slender profile and an extensive restyling, the 88′ Domino Super is bound to set new standards in the yachting sector as a whole in terms of style, comfort, and performance. The new model is called Super also because it marks the evolution of the species. The 88’ Domino Super yacht immediately strikes the eye with its aerodynamic lines, which are also enhanced by the hull’s original colour shade, the dark ‘London Grey’, in pleasant contrast with the lighter ‘Moon Grey’ chosen for the superstructure. This innovative feature goes hand in hand with other new design solutions: the new sun deck, which highlights the yacht’s sporty character while offering its guests additional comfort; the large continuous hull glazing, resulting in a truly aggressive look; and the restyled aft area, which adds the final touch to the yacht’s dynamic personality. The aft swimming platform, which can be lowered into the sea, makes diving into the water and getting back onboard much easier, as well as enhancing tender launching and haulage operations.

In the standard version, the yacht is equipped with two MTU 16V 2000 M93, 2435 Mhp engines, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 38 knots and a cruising speed of 34 knots. As an option, two MTU 16V 2000 M94, 2638 Mhp engines can be installed instead, pushing the yacht up to 40 knots and ensuring a cruising speed of 35 knots.

  • Pershing launched its third pershing 108 foot maxi yacht

Pershing launched its third pershing 108 foot maxi yacht

Fano (Italy), June 2015 – Over the last few days, the Marina dei Cesari in Fano (Italy) has experienced another thrilling occasion in the glorious thirty-year history of Pershing.

The third unit of the Pershing 108 has descended into the water, rewarding the commitment of all the Mondolfo production shipyard workers and of the Pershing quay too, who, due to the marine weather conditions, had to pay the utmost attention during the travel lift movement and launch operations.

During these weeks on board this fantastic three-engine vessel, the interior furnishings and non-structural décor will be completed. The interior of the new maxi yacht has been entirely customized by the Owner, who was assisted in every design stage by Ferretti Group’s architects and designers, to create a ship that fully reflects his style and aesthetic taste.

At the same time, technical testing will be carried out on the new vessel, on the systems, and all the control and infotainment software will be checked, in addition to the performance trials.

These tests – carried out with the utmost care by Pershing’s engineers and Ferretti Group’s Engineering Department – are extremely important for a brand such as Pershing, which for 30 years has made technological and engine performance, as well as constant product innovation, its mission to guide its future.

After the official delivery to the European Owner, the new Pershing 108 is ready to plough the waters of the Mediterranean, its thrilling beauty embellishing the most captivating views of the European seas.

    Pershing 108
The Pershing 108, from its very first appearances, has surprised and impressed owners and enthusiasts over the world, thanks to its extraordinary mix of versatility, innovation and technology, which makes it a maxi yacht that’s ahead of its time.

The result of collaboration between yacht designer Fulvio De Simoni and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department’s team of engineers, architects and designers, it’s a perfect sample of the brand’s DNA, where a versatile layout – which can be completely personalized in terms of décor by the Owner – is paired with the most innovative on-board technology.

The concept of on-board personalization is a good fit for the supple, distinctive lines that characterize the yachts of the Pershing fleet: aggressive profile, extensive use of glazing on the sides and – naturally – peerless performance.

The Pershing 108 is a truly state-of-the-art maxi yacht, also in terms of its propulsion system, divided into three engine for the first time, with the aim of guaranteeing great performance and with environmental impact in mind. In the shipyard version, the Pershing 108 has three MTU 2638 mHp (1939 kW) 16V 2000 M 94 L diesel engines and, thanks to its three surface propellers, it may achieve a top speed of more than 42 knots.

The Pershing 108 can manage high travel ranges, exceeding 1000 miles at 10 knots and with very limited consumption at these speeds. With only the central engine running, this yacht can be very quiet at low speeds.

In the absence of high load conditions, it can plane even with just two engines and reach speeds worthy of note. Generally speaking, extremely high levels of comfort have been measured on board. Translated into DbA, this means a new benchmark for this yacht category.

Highly significant performance meets the “family feeling” that over the years has made all the models in the Pershing fleet unique and recognisable.

The Pershing 108, 32.90 m long, has 4 guest cabins and 3 dedicated to the crew, and offers customers the possibility of choosing from various interior layouts, with a view to providing even more versatile, customized spaces.

  • The Ferretti Yachts 750 and Pershing 62: two première for the german market at the Düsseldorf International Boat Show

The Ferretti Yachts 750 and Pershing 62: two première for the german market at the Düsseldorf International Boat Show

Düsseldorf, 15th January 2015 – This Saturday 17th January, the 2015 edition of BOOT, the Düsseldorf International Boat Show, will officially open. During the event, which will last until 25th January, the Ferretti Group will display four of the most prestigious models in its fleet: the iconic Riva yachts Rivarama Super and Aquariva Super, and two première for the German market, the Ferretti Yachts 750 and the Pershing 62.

Both these crafts, which have already been enthusiastically welcomed at all the international boat shows they have been taking part in, belong to the “strategic” category ranging between 60 and 80 feet in length, which is particularly sought for in continental and northern Europe.
The Ferretti Yachts 750 and the Pershing 62 are, therefore, two more representatives of a fleet that has always skilfully blended together the most interesting technological innovations and the top-quality of Italian traditional craftsmanship.

The Ferretti Group is taking part directly in the BOOT again after a few years away. At the boat show – the first to be held in 2015 and one of the most exclusive ones for the European yachting industry – yachting enthusiasts and visitors will be welcomed by the Group’s staff in its large, stylish stand set up in Halle 6, both during the nine days of the show and on the occasion of the Blue Motion Night, which will be held on Tuesday 20th January, when the show will remain open until 10 p.m.

“Every year the Düsseldorf boat show plays a crucial role for the Ferretti Group, as it allows us to get in direct contact with customers, journalists, and dealers from central and northern Europe, an area characterized by a high standard of living and a still-growing economy” – commented Stefano De Vivo, Ferretti Group’s Chief Commercial Officer. “This is why this year the Group has decided to take part in the boat show directly and to present four very successful models of its fleet, including two absolute première for Germany: the Ferretti Yachts 750 and the Pershing 62, which are leading crafts for our brands; they both belong to the category between 60 and 80 feet in length, a very appealing range on these markets”.

FERRETTI GROUP’S TWO PREMIÈRE AT THE BOOT 2015

    FERRETTI YACHTS 750
The Ferretti Yachts 750 has an overall length of 22.75 metres and a beam of 5.70 metres, and is a true milestone in the evolution of the brand’s range above 70 feet in length. This yacht, which features several innovative solutions both outdoor and indoor, immediately strikes for its streamlined and sporty outer profile, which benefits from the installation of an elongated-tail, aerodynamic flybridge. In the standard version, without the hard top, the flybridge is even more spacious, as there is no davit. The sundeck is in any case also available in the other two versions – with a roll bar and integrated Bimini top or with a hard top and awning. The outer aft area hosts an over-1.5-metre-long electrically-hydraulically operated swimming platform that can be lowered by almost half a metre below the water surface, resulting in very easy tender launch and haulage.
The platform can lift up to 450 kg and can host an almost four-metre tender.
The Ferretti Yachts 750 will come in two different engine configurations: two MTU 10V 2000 M84, 1381 Mhp engines or, as an option, two MTU 10V 2000 M93, 1524 Mhp engines. The standard configuration allows to reach a maximum speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots, while the optional configuration can push the yacht to a maximum speed of 32.5 knots and a cruising speed of 29.

    PERSHING 62
Natural evolution of the Pershing 56 and Pershing 58, two of the brand’s most successful models, boasting more than 70 built and sold hulls, the Pershing 62 immediately strikes for its streamlined, slender profile: the bottom line and the superstructure have indeed been designed to obtain a slim, fast yacht characterised by aggressive lines and a sporty personality. Truly breathtaking is also the unique shape of the hull glazing – a typical feature in Pershing’s new era that can now be found in this model too, preserving the family feeling and ensuring great brightness in the full-beam master cabin located amidships. The VIP cabin too benefits from two windows with portholes, which let it plenty of natural light. The Pershing 62 is available in two versions: with three cabins and three heads with separate shower box or with two cabins – the master stateroom and the VIP cabin -, while the guest cabin is replaced by a living area. Moreover, two engine configurations are available for this yacht: two MTU 10V 2000 M84, 1381 Mhp engines or two MTU 10V 2000 M93, 1524 Mhp ones. In this second version, the Pershing 62 can reach a maximum speed of 46.5 knots and a cruising speed of 42 knots. In the standard model the Pershing 62 is equipped with Searex surface drives; upon request the Autotrim system can also be installed.

THE TWO “NORTH AMERICA PREMIÈRES” AT THE MIAMI YACHT & BROKERAGE BOAT SHOW 2015

    FERRETTI YACHTS 650
This model, which was presented for the first time at the 2014 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival, is the forerunner of a series of models which will set the aesthetic rules of the “Yachts” line under 70 feet. The Ferretti Yachts 650 immediately strikes the eye for its truly distinctive profile. Its outer silhouette is characterized by a flybridge equipped with an aerodynamic hard top and new fiberglass decorative elements that “cut” through the profile of the glazing in the superstructure. An unprecedented decoration connects the windows of the three cabins below deck, providing the craft an even more captivating look.
Its slender lines are further enhanced by the yacht’s aft area, specifically designed to ensure easy and safe tender handling and increase the guests’ on board comfort. A tender lift, which can lodge an over 9 feet tender and be lowered by 3 feet with respect to its original position, has been installed on the yacht to handle the tender without any davit. It allows a comfortable access to the sea, also thanks to some built-in steps.
The main deck is an extremely functional open space. The galley, which is open on all sides, allows using this space as al large bar area open to the bow and facing the dining and living areas, enhancing the sense of comfort and conviviality for guests.
The under deck layout features three double cabins with separated heads. The Ferretti Yachts 650 is equipped with two Caterpillar engines, CAT C18, allowing the yacht to reach a cruising speed of 26 knots and a maximum speed of 30 knots. The optional engines (1150 mhp), in turn, can push the yacht to a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 33 knots.

    PERSHING 70
The Pershing 70 marks a new breakaway from the past and a new step forward in Pershing’s over thirty-year evolution. Its futuristic and imposing shapes are highlighted even more by the two large side wings that endow this yacht with a truly unmistakable look and even larger on-board space, to ensure the utmost comfort. At the same time, thanks to the technological equipment installed on-board the Pershing 70 surpasses its competitors having an equivalent size. A series of MOSFET electronic control units (a technology based on power transistors) has indeed been installed on-board, allowing to simplify the electrical system, reduce the number of on-board cables, and apply power electronics to the electrical system.
Moreover, a series of power boards allows to monitor and control the individual on-board systems, as well as to display on-board data, thereby making available an extremely advanced and easily expandable home automation system at a very competitive cost. The shipyard has indeed developed a number of optional system configurations, i.e. several ‘packages’ allowing the owner to choose one or more ‘custom solutions’ that can be adapted to suit specific on-board requirements or expanded with additional functions and ‘dedicated’ software applications, thanks to the assistance of Ferretti Group’s engineers.
If required, the home automation system can be integrated with the innovative audio/video interaction system VOTIS (Videoworks One Touch Infotainment System), the result of the cooperation between the Research & Development department and Videoworks, the Group’s technological partner. VOTIS allows to control the entertainment system installed on the main deck via an iPad, thereby replacing the various remote controls required for the different devices with one unit only. Upon request, the same control function can be extended to other areas on the yacht or installed on the Owner’s own devices.

    WIDER 32’

Stylish, Compact Vessel Makes Perfect Superyacht Tender or Sleek Express Cruiser

Castelvecchio (Pu) Italy, 6th March, 2015.

In 2014 Wider announced they started production of the newest addition to the revolutionary Wider fleet: the sleek yet spacious Wider 32’. Designed by Fulvio De Simoni as the perfect tender to the Wider 150’ or any other superyacht, this highly versatile model is equally suited to use as a fast, comfortable sport cruiser.

As you would expect from a Wider yacht, the new 32’ is easily distinguishable from other express cruisers. Its dominant axe bow and low transom give the impression it is leaping out of the water, eager to slice through the waves. The 9’ 8” beam tapers only slightly towards the bow in order to provide maximum cockpit space and freedom of movement, and to facilitate boarding from a mother ship. The cockpit is designed to be easily adapted to the owner’s specific requirements, accommodating as many different configurations as possible from an inviting dining area with folding table to a nice sunbathing platform. The Wider 32’ also comes with an adjustable, easily installed awning to shade the entire cockpit.

Below deck, the stylish cabin is furnished with two facing sofas that provide comfortable seating for entertaining or ship-to-shore transportation protected from the weather; they also convert into spacious berths for overnight stays on board. The galley, equipped with sink, stove ring and refrigerator, disappears seamlessly into the contemporary cabinetry. A surprisingly large, full-beam head with shower is housed in the bow. Storage for personal belongings is maximized throughout the Wider 32’.

The hull is designed to provide a smooth ride and excellent performance. Twin 260-hp Mercruiser Turbo Diesel engines mated to Bravo 1 DTS stern drives deliver a cruising speed of 30 knots and a top speed of 37 knots. This diesel propulsion package also ensures that the tender’s fuel matches that of the mother ship.
Wider Chairman and CEO Tilli Antonelli and his design team have invested thousands of hours into the design and development of the Wider 32’, in order to ensure that it is practical for use as a tender but also reflects Wider’s philosophy of innovation and initiative. When configured as a tender, the dedicated design, engineering and construction process behind this innovative vessel makes it possible to achieve a perfect symbiosis between the Wider 32’ and the superyacht it serves. But no matter how the vessel will be used, Wider offers a high level of customization for the 32’. The owner can select from a wide range of hull and deck colors, window glass and frames, sunpad and seat configurations, upholstery and accessories, to make his or her own final version of the boat come to life.

“The owner is the most important player in the creation of his boat, so his Wider 32’ ultimately will reflect his own individual being,” said Wider President and CEO Tilli Antonelli. “Imagine a project designed to offer you a truly personal and unique experience, which through teamwork involves you in the most inspiring phase, when your yacht comes to life. All that is left is for you to give it an identity. Let yourself be inspired by fragments of your memories to mix and match your favorite styles, colors and materials. Bring all of yourself aboard, because Wider 32’ is made of who you are.”
