    Among the different Atlantis models joining the new entry is the versatile and innovative Atlantis 50, Open version. Azimut 50 Fly, fresh from winning “European Power boat of the Year 2015” and Azimut 80 Fly will also be exhibited among the Italian brand’s best sellers. There will also be space dedicated to the Italian Long Range with Azimut Magellano 53 and Magellano 43.

    The unveiling of Azimut Yachts offerings for the 2015 International Boat Show season continues. For the upcoming edition of the Eurasia Boat Show 2015 scheduled for 1422 February in Istanbul, Azimut|Benetti – the Italian producer of 24′-120′ yachts – is celebrating the excellence of “Made in Italy”. Embodying the new concept is the Azimut Atlantis 43, “best in class” for its surprising layout, space, and interior design, the first of the brand’s yachts to “wear” big names in Italian fashion.

    With the Atlantis 43, Azimut Yachts has launched its innovative project “Big Names in
    Fashion” so that owners of yachts of all sizes can enjoy the privilege of a custom décor: Missoni Home and Loro Piana Interiors are just some of the big names collaborating with the Azimut Yachts Style Centre to create exclusive interiors for the brand’s clients.

    Bold and sporty outside, cool and sophisticated inside, the latest arrival to the Atlantis Collection is the perfect example of how the boatyard manages to continually innovate without sacrificing its hallmark style, and in this case with a very interesting price tag.

    To celebrate “the star”, Azimut Yachts is hosting an official ceremony on Saturday 14 February for journalists and visitors.

    In addition to the Azimut Atlantis 43, visitors will be able to admire other prominent models by the Italian brand, starting with the Azimut Flybridge 50, fresh from its debut at the fall boat shows and recipient of the illustrious European Power boat of the Year 2015 at the Düsseldorf Boat Show. There is a certain “family feeling” about the Azimut Flybridge 80 – the popular model launched in 2014 – with its 16 meters of elegance and top performance.

    Further rounding out the collection will be the Azimut Atlantis 50 Open Version , together with two popular Magellano models, the collection dedicated to the Italian Long Range: Azimut Magellano 43, available both in flybridge and hardtop (HD), and Azimut Magellano 53, a new release for the 2013-2014 season.

    2015 Ferretti Cup Sanya New Year Golf Tournament

    On Feb 23, 2015, the 5th day of Chinese New Year, Ferretti Group, together with its China exclusive dealer Speedo Marine, held the 2015 Ferretti Cup New Year Golf Tournament at Yalongbay, Sanya, Hainan of China.

    The tournament was hold in Sanya Yalongbay Golf Course, over 30 FG yacht owners and VIP guests attended the golf event. Waving poles to celebrate Chinese new year with outstanding skills.

    The exclusive dinner was set at the Park Hyatt Hotel Sanya Sunny Bay. Alessandro Tirelli, sales director of Ferretti Group Asia Pacific Ltd and James Li, president of Speedo Marine attended and toasted to all guests for the prosperous new year, and then giving prize to the winners. The whole event represented the Ferretti Group philosophy as being delicate, enjoyable and exclusive.

    Lionheart wins J Class Falmouth Regatta

    Big congratulations are due to the owner and crew of the Claasen-built Lionheart who have won the first major J-class race of 2015!

    Our black-hulled beauty had to win the sixth and final race on Saturday to clinch the J-class Falmouth Regatta title. A huge crowd of spectators watched the J fleet lock horns in Cornwall and were rewarded with a very exciting race. The start proved close with Ranger and Velsheda going head to head, but Lionheart sailed smartly and smoothly to ultimately beat Ranger by 42 seconds.

    Lionheart’s tactician John Cutler was delighted with both the victory and the event: “As a group we are really pleased to win on this tough race course. It is a spectacle which does not come around often and the boats are awesome.” Similarly spectacular racing on an even larger scale was seen at the 19th Superyacht Cup in Palma from 17 to 20 June. Claasen was ‘Industry Partner’ for this year’s event and after three days of exciting racing it was the classic ketch Marie who claimed overall victory.

    Our very own Heartbeat bagged a class win during last year’s SYC and overall victory the year before. While they could not quite repeat the feat this year, Heartbeat’s crew gave it their all at a regatta where 21 competitors were split across three classes of super-close battles.
