    Nina

Nina is a new and exciting 38-metre design from Heesen Yachts, build on the proven semi-displacement hull form. Both the exterior and interior are designed by Hot Lab, a young team of Milan-based designers.

Sporty and dynamic, the aluminium hull can reach a top speed of 23 knots powered by twin MTU engines. For optimal trim and stabilisation, Humphree Active Interceptors are fitted as standard, but at-anchor stabilisation is also an option.

Hot Lab has taken the classic Heesen look and refreshed it by maximising window space and open-air deck areas for owners to enjoy stunning sea views. The upper deck aft has been extended to create room for a 6 metre jet tender and water toys.
The sun deck is shaded by the Bimini hard top for casual, open-air dining with grill and bar area. The area can be accessed both internally from the bridge deck and via a special collapsible stairs from the upper aft deck.

The exterior styling is dominated by the single horizontal line of the upper deck to create a profile that is at once classic and contemporary. Travelling at an impressive top speed of 23 knots, our 38-metre Nina provides the rare combination of style and performance. A yacht built to exceed expectations on every level.

The idea behind Nina is as simple as it is elegant: combining the best of the semi-displacement hull form of her predecessors with a unique, luxurious new identity. At every level, inside and outside, our master craftsmen and designers went above and beyond to make this yacht as exciting as the destinations she takes her owners.

On the lower deck there is a lazarette with day head and shower that can be turned into a cosy beach club. Creating the perfect waterside oasis for owners and guests to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Water sports enthusiasts can also use this area of the yacht for storing yet more water toys. With plenty of possibilities, Nina’s outdoor features make her a highly versatile yacht.

MAIN SALOON I The generous main saloon overlooks the aft deck through sliding glass doors. Both the salon and adjacent dining room feature full-height windows for uninterrupted views. Minimalistic yet inviting, the main saloon features all facilities needed to relax at the end of a day’s cruising.

MAIN SALOON DINING I The main saloon dining has a bright, contemporary atmosphere designed with great care by Hot Lab. The finest materials are used to give the dining a unique decorative style. Offering room to enjoy a first class dinner in the company of friends and family, Nina’s lavish interior leaves nothing to be desired.

OWNER’S STATEROOM I The Owner’s stateroom offers the same beautifully crafted interior design as Nina’s main saloon, using the very best materials and fabrics. The windows allow an abundance of natural light inside for a distinguished and modern atmosphere with an airy, relaxing vibe. The stateroom is a complete mini apartment with study, full-beam suite, large walk-in wardrobe and a generous bathroom with shower and bathtub.

GUEST SUITE I The lower deck layout is designed to be as comfortable and functional as possible. The guest accommodation consists of four generous cabins, all with en-suite facilities. Despite being just 38 metres in length overall, the beam is almost 8 metres. This provides the interior with the necessary volume to keep the crew areas separate from the guest areas to ensure a smooth crew circulation and plenty of privacy.

AZIMUT READY TO LAUNCH THE THIRD GRANDE 120SL

This third hull of Azimut Grande Collection’s thirty‐six metre yacht is 100% Azimut‐Benetti quality. Unmatchable style, liveability, and unparalleled comfort; with a maximum speed of 39 knots and two lateral water jets, Rolls‐Royce central booster, it is owner‐customised down to the last detail. With the addition of the all‐new “Crew Network” service, the after‐sales services exclusively designed for Azimut Yachts owners expand even more.
The third unit of Azimut Grande 120SLs built over the last two years is scheduled for launch this April 2014; it is an embodiment of the Azimut‐Benetti Group’s production excellence. Made up of planing yachts over 30‐metres, the Azimut Grande is the most exclusive Azimut Yachts collection. And, it boasts the Group’s most ambitious design to date: the Grande 120SL, the product of Azimut’s high‐performance hull design prowess and the boatyard’s skill in creating custom solutions. Azimut Grande 120SL offers the boatowner a wide range of options, catering specifically to the semi‐custom boat market. Over the years, the Group’s offering has expanded to include an after‐sales service network specially designed to enhance the boat owner’s enjoyment. One example is the complimentary Expert Captain Search and Selection service, part of the ‘Crew Network’ service available to all owners of +24‐metre Azimut‐Benetti yachts.
Aside from the location of certain integral yacht components, such as the engines, bilges, and main bulkheads, the boat owner has been given total freedom in the detailing of construction and decor. The overall concept and style of this new design are the work of Stefano Righini, with interiors by Carlo Galeazzi.
As Paolo Vitelli, chairman of the Azimut Benetti Group says: “Azimut Grande represents a tangible response to the needs expressed by our boat owners: it is an appealing and distinctive line that doesn’t cut corners in terms of comfort and flawless performance. Rigorous trials and tank testing have helped develop a high performance keel that can cruise with ease, even in rough seas. Adopting water jet transmissions has significantly limited vibrations and noise, maximising on board comfort for the boat owner and guests”.
Yachts middle east - AZIMUT - GRANDE 120SL - running
What is the aim of the new Grande 120SL ? To experience the sea and the yacht without limits, reducing the distinction between interior and outside until it practically disappears.

A goal which springs to life as soon as the gangway comes up: as soon as you climb on board, you’ll find yourself on the main deck. Here, the cockpit and the living area come together to form a unified deck, with commanding views at all times of the day.

This third example of the Azimut Grande 120SL retains all the features which the previous units were renowned for, adding three MTU 16v 2000, 2640 horsepower engines (2450 rpm), boosting the maximum speed to 39 knots.

The internal layout still includes a main saloon with its 60 square metres; 50 square metres of glazing and the additional operable skylight above – which reveals more than 15 square metres of sky and sea ‐ provide an unprecedented sensation: the distinction between inside and outside virtually disappears, there is longer any difference felt between the two.
The liveability and expanse of the interiors is emphasized by opening the glazing which separates the living area from the cockpit to create a single space in direct contact with the sea.
The living area comes standard with a ten‐person dining table and two sofas, it can of course be closed off and climate controlled.
The main deck is an area where boat owners can freely express their taste and personalise the furnishings. Drawing on the boatyard’s design experience, its technical staff are on hand to establish the boat owners’ desires and propose solutions that shape them and bring them to life.
The lower deck layout offered by Azimut is a perfect example of high liveability.
The owner’s cabin measures 43 square metres, with 11 of these dedicated to separate his‐and‐hers bathrooms. The two glassed windows offer breathtaking sea views and fill the interiors with natural light.
Yachts middle east - AZIMUT - GRANDE 120SL - exterior
The crew area with its three cabins – one with a double bed – serves to separate and insulate the owner’s cabin from the engine room, further ensuring quiet and comfort.
The layout also includes three guest cabins: one VIP cabin in the bow with a double bed, and two cabins with twin beds amidships, each with a private bathroom. In addition, the lower deck is equipped with an additional day head for day guests.
All the interiors feature a play of contrasting light and dark tones in finishes and materials, with ebony and oak skilfully combined with fine leather and steel and glass elements. The lighting scheme employs recessed LED ceiling lights and spots with continuous intensity adjustment.
Even the exterior is designed and constructed to offer the best possible vacation experience.Towards the bow, a small sitting room and two large sunpads allow for total relaxation, all the while ensuring the necessary privacy. Between the openable roof section over the saloon and cockpit, a flybridge creates an additional outdoor living area equipped with a steering station, Jacuzzi, and dinette sofa. At the stern, the swimming platform above the transmissions with stairs going up to the cockpit.

The garage, among the largest in this category, can house a tender of up to 5.5 metres and two jet skis up to 2.9 metres in length.
The three MTU 2000 16V engines are coupled with three Rolls‐Royce KaMeWa water jets, two lateral water jets, and a central booster jet for true thoroughbred performance: the maximum speed is 39 knots, with unexpected acceleration and handling for a unit of this size. This is due also to high‐quality electronic assistance that uses original elements from propulsion and transmission producers, as well as an integrated Naviop system. In the bilge there is a passage of more than 21 metres going all the way to the engine room, making it possible to inspect the hidden elements of the boat.
With the new Azimut Grande range flagship, the Azimut Benetti Group reinforces its role as a leader in the mega yacht world, reasserting its capacity to anticipate the needs and requirements of the most demanding boat owners.

  • New WIDER 125 just unveiled

    New WIDER 125 just unveiled

Castelvecchio (Pu) Italy, 6th March, 2015.

Tilli Antonelli, WIDER CEO & Chairman is very proud to present to the Asia’s market his latest project, recently unveiled at the Miami Yacht and Brokerage Show: the WIDER 125, the result of more than a year of research and design combined with input from yacht owners and potential clients.

Fulvio De Simoni is responsible for the design of the all aluminium vessel – like the other models in the superyacht range – and this has ensured that the WIDER 125 retains the distinctive WIDER style of the W150 and the W165. The WIDER 125 also benefits from the same diesel electric technology as the rest of the WIDER family of superyachts. And, by placing the technical room in the bow, in space which is less desirable for accommodation, the engine room is significantly smaller compared to a traditional yacht and houses variable speed generators which produce sufficient power for both the propulsion and the hotel systems. This frees up significant volume in the aft quarter and results in exceptionally spacious accommodation below deck for both guests and crew.
As the first yacht builder in the world to offer a luxury yacht of this size with diesel electric propulsion, WIDER is leading the field in making cruise liner technology available to the yacht owner. The shipping industry is full of examples, from ferries to military craft, that choose diesel electric over other forms of propulsion due to its outstanding fuel economy, range and, above all, reliability. Recent advances in battery technology have created a wonderful opportunity for the modern yacht owner that WIDER is delighted to satisfy with the WIDER 125.

Guests are treated to four lavish staterooms that stretch further aft than on a traditional motor yacht of this size, well into the area usually reserved for an engine room. Each one has a well-proportioned ensuite bathroom, and particularly generous shower rooms.

The crew benefit from three twin cabins, a sizeable cabin for the Captain next to the wheelhouse, and an ample crew mess. A central corridor gives direct access to the engine room, located at the furthest point from the guest accommodation.
Yachts middle east - WIDER 125 exterior

The master stateroom is on the main deck, and a high bow allows this to extend forward without spoiling the sleek lines of the yacht. The owner’s study is situated further aft and includes a large opening terrace that can also be reached from the stateroom.
There are two different options for the galley location, to cater to regional preferences.
For the US edition, the galley is located on the main deck, accessed through a spacious pantry to the portside. Crew can enter the galley through a side door or directly from the crew quarters without disturbing the owner or guests. In this case, there is ample space on the lower deck to fit a gym. For the European market, the galley is on the lower deck and the main deck master cabin can be split to accommodate kids and a nanny in a “family zone” or used as a gym.

Yachts middle east - WIDER 125 interior

The WIDER 125 has an ample beam of 7.93m (26 ft) making the main deck saloon remarkably airy and light, with floor to ceiling windows on either side. The bulwarks drop in correspondence with these windows to allow guests to enjoy uninterrupted panoramic views of the ocean.

On the upper deck, aft of the wheelhouse, a sky lounge leads out to an inviting aft deck. Sliding full height glass panels can divide the two areas, when necessary, or open to create an impressive inside/outside sun deck, ideal for entertaining.

    Yachts middle east - WIDER 125 interior - 1

There is no shortage of open air relaxation areas, the upper aft deck is kept free for sun loungers and exterior furniture. Forward of the wheelhouse, a large seating recess is carved into the superstructure. For those who prefer to relax closer to the water, the stern garage opens and the aft swimming platform extends to create a plunge pool and expansive beach club.

There is ample tender storage, creatively hidden from sight whilst at the same time easily accessible. A tender garage is located forward, above the power generation room. There is capacity to stow a 5, 5 m tender along with two jet skis and a MOB tender fits comfortably on deck. All of the tenders and toys can be launched and retrieved by a crane that is housed out of sight within the yacht’s superstructure.

    Yachts middle east - WIDER 125 interior - 2

Our mission in designing the WIDER 125 was to offer exceptional range, without compromising the alluring, modern lines that Fulvio De Simoni and WIDER have become known for. A range of 2,600 nm is expected at 12 knots, and this increases to 3,600 nm at the economical speed of 10 knots. The yacht has a top speed of 14 knots and can also run solely using batteries in zero emission mode.

The master suite consists of a lounge area and a king-size bed and is separated from its private bathroom with decorative translucent panels that further enhance the impression of space. In the bathroom, carbon fixtures and mirrored furniture make it refined and original.

Going forward from the lower saloon , one enters the service area with the main galley , crew lounge, two twin cabins and the captain’s cabin with their respective bathrooms.

The owner’s care and dedication to his crew is demonstrated by the use of same quality materials in crew quarters which are finished and equipped to same standards as the guest accommodation.

In addition to the generous sunbathing area, there is also a large dining table. Maiora 39

    Maiora 39

Maiora 39 is one of the jewels of the Maiora product line, a name that boasts over 30 years of experience in the construction of highly prestigious motoryachts.

This 39 meters yacht really doesn’t pass unnoticed, not only for her dimensions, but also for her design that combines comfort and luxury, safety and practicality, elegance and aggressiveness, tradition and innovation. Exteriors and interiors are designed with great attention to detail and all is configured with relaxation in mind with generous dimensions and comfortable layouts while her imposing profile is kept clean and elegant.

The owner has chosen to build a yacht where white color predominates thereby creating an elegant continuity between the exterior and interior and resulting in a homely atmosphere of complete well-being. The combination of colors and lights is truly amazing: combination of bamboo and birch clear woods for floors, furniture and ceilings. Entering the main saloon through the elegant glass sliding door, there is a bright environment where light colors predominate, a wide social area furnished with two sofas in ivory leather and two coffee tables, with white carpeting, ceilings upholstered in white leather and cabinetry made out of light bamboo which is also finished with a coat of “peach skin” varnish, making even the tactile experience of this interior a truly soft and soothing one. The saloon is separated from the dining area by a dividing wall with a central opening which hosts the Home Theater system with a 52” TV that can be lowered and concealed in the furniture. The dining area is furnished with a rectangular table which can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests.

Further up there is a comfortable and well equipped galley finished using the same palette of colors: white Corian for the floor which matches the white lacquered cabinetry that gives brightness to this area as well.Proceeding towards the bow, after the galley, there is a comfortable raised wheelhouse finished in light brown leather and a second saloon which is wonderful: it is an office and audio-visual entertainment area with details in black and silver color which provide contrast with the floor, furniture and ceilings. Fitted with a convertible sofa and a comfortable bathroom with shower, this saloon can also be used as an additional guest cabin.

Cabins are located on the lower deck: four comfortable guests cabins (two VIP double cabins and two twin cabins with an additional Pullman bed each – all of them with private bathrooms), in addition to the enormous Owner’s Suite located towards the bow. This cabin really shows how the large volumes of Maiora 39dp are used to the best effect. This full-beam cabin features a wide walk-in closet and a very comfortable bathroom with a huge shower. And custom-made lamps specially hand-crafted for this yacht are a feature common to all cabins, their craftsmanship is breathtakingly beautiful and they make each and every area of the yacht absolutely unique.

In the bathrooms, the ceilings are lacquered, countertops are made of light bamboo and showers are luxuriously finished in Bisazza mosaic tiles. Therefore, bathrooms are also part of this world made of smoothness and softness.

Well-equipped crew quarters are located all the way on the bow, they feature four comfortable cabins all with private bathrooms, a separate galley exclusively for crew use, as well as separate access from outside deck.

The incredible open deck spaces are used to the maximum in this jewel of the sea, in order to get the most out of life outside, there is an extremely spacious flying bridge which in addition to a comfortable sunbed and a big sofa which together with a bar create a remarkable lounge area, also features a large Jacuzzi which offers additional entertainment and relaxation to guests.
