CRN AT THE FORT LAUDERDALE INTERNATIONAL BOAT SHOW

After the 2016 Monaco Boat Show, CRN is back to the American market, taking its bespoke yachting art overseas

Ancona, 28 October 2016 – CRN, the historical ship builder and Italian brand part of the Ferretti Group specializing in the construction of fully-custom steel and light aluminum alloy pleasure vessels between 40 and 100 meters in length, takes part to the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, to be held from the 3rd to the 7th of November.

CRN will be present at the Boat Show with a stand in the SYBAss area, which gathers all the leading superyacht builders in the world.

The US boat show, reaching its 57th edition this year, is one of the world’s most prestigious showcases for recreational boating, attracting all the major brands in this sector. This year too, CRN is here to reiterate the strategic importance of the American market, for both the brand’s already satisfactory – and yet potentially growing – business volume and thanks to the presence of Owners increasingly interested in purchasing custom-made superyachts.

“CRN exports 95% of its production, and the Americas are a strategic market, holding a huge potential” states Ferretti Group CEO and CRN President Alberto Galassi. “Overseas, Italian yachts are considered as the most prestigious and desirable ones, as is the case with leading haute couture and car brands. CRN is an ambassador of Italy’s excellence in the construction of bespoke pleasure vessels. Indeed, thanks to its expertise, CRN meets wishes and needs of a cosmopolitan clientele like the one of the United States and Central and South America, by conceiving and building unique, truly tailor-made yachts for extremely selective and demanding Owners”.

Confirming the Company’s great visibility and popularity in this geographic area, three yachts from the CRN Atelier will be among the finalists of the International Superyacht Society Design Awards, whose awarding ceremony will be held during the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show: 46 m M/Y Eight in the “Best Refit” category, 73 m M/Y Yalla in the “Best Power” 65m plus category, and 55 m M/Y Atlante – CRN’s latest jewel – in the “Best Power” 40 m to 65 m category.

Last, but not least, CRN’s stand will have on display the Bespoke artwork recently presented at the 2016 Monaco Boat Show. This stunning piece of art, the outcome of CRN Atelier’s creativity and craftsmanship, skillfully blends together the materials, finishes and processes that the Ancona-based shipyard exclusively offers its Owners, and has been conceived to pay tribute to CRN’s art of yacht building in the world.

With just one week to go before the Cannes Yachting Festival opens its doors on 6 September, the VAN DER VALK team is very much looking forward to this fantastic boat show.

After the success of last year, we’re delighted to present two of the latest members of the VAN DER VALK fleet. The Continental Two Grey Falcon and Continental Three Jangada will be on display on the Super Yacht Extension at berth number SYE039. We will also have a dedicated lounge tent next to the yachts at SYE228, ready to welcome you and discuss how VAN DER VALK might be of service.

With an exterior designed in-house and an interior by Guido de Groot, Grey Falcon is the 19th Continental Two we’ve launched to date and – with a top speed of 32 knots – one of the fastest. The 25-metre Jangada is the second Continental Three and her design was created in close cooperation with Nick Top, Guido de Groot and the experienced owner.

Both these superyachts have distinctive designs and showcase the many options available from a VAN DER VALK. We look forward to meeting you in Cannes any time from Tuesday 6 September to Sunday 11 September. If you’d like to make an appointment, please feel free to email or call us.
